Peru And Colombia Join TMclass

On April 18, 2016, the Peruvian National Institute for the
Defense of Free Competition and the Protection of Intellectual
Property (INDECOPI) joined TMclass, the international technical
cooperation platform for trademarks administered by the Office for
Harmonization in the Internal Market (OHIM).
TMclass is a free tool that helps both users and trademark
examiners in the search, classification and translation of goods
and services to and from any of the 40 available languages.
In addition, on April 25, 2016, the Colombian Superintendence of
Industry and Commerce (SIC) also joined TMclass.
This latest addition brings the total number of national and
regional IP Offices, including OAPI, WIPO and EUIPO, in the tool to
60.
