Answer ... If the Polish Patent Office (PPO) refuses to register a trademark, the applicant may file a request for reconsideration of the matter. This is examined by a different examiner at the PPO.

Can the reviewing body’s decision be appealed? If so, to what body and by what procedure?

Answer ... If, after reconsideration of the matter, the PPO sustains the refusal, the applicant may appeal the decision to the district administrative court within 30 days of receipt of the PPO’s decision. Such appeal requires justification and is a subject to payment of a court fee.
