Answer ... There is no specific provision in Greek law concerning the issue of confidentiality in arbitration. However, in practice, the confidentiality and secrecy of hearings are guaranteed and submissions, notes, evidence and awards are not, in principle, accessible to third parties. In any case, the parties can ensure confidentiality at every step of the proceedings by including such a clause in the arbitration agreement or in the terms of reference.

The filing of the original of the award with the competent court of first instance (see question 9.1) does not make this award publicly available.
