An enhanced version of the regulations governing the
Register of Beneficial Owner ("RBO") is
now available on our website. It comprises the original French
version of the Luxembourg Law of 13 January 2019 creating an RBO
and the Grand-Ducal Regulation of 15 February 2019 on the
arrangements regarding registration and payment of administrative
costs as well as the access to the information registered in the
RBO, together with an English translation.
For ease of reference, some relevant sections of the Luxembourg
Law of 12 November 2004 on the fight against money laundering and
terrorist financing, and of the Law of 19 December 2002 on
inter alia the register of commerce have been inserted in
both language versions, i.e. English and French.
The content of this article is intended to provide a general
guide to the subject matter. Specialist advice should be sought
about your specific circumstances.
