The Financial Crimes Enforcement Network's ("FinCEN") invitation to nominate organizations for membership on the Bank Secrecy Act Advisory Group (the "Group") was published in the Federal Register. Nominations must be submitted by January 28, 2019.
As previously covered, the Group serves as adviser to Treasury on the operations of the Bank Secrecy Act. The public may nominate any financial institution, trade group, or non-federal regulator or law enforcement agency for a three-year membership term.
