CHARLESTON, S.C.—Blackbaud is one of the world's leading technology companies and remains committed to its home in the Charleston area. Blackbaud's new international corporate headquarters serves both functions.

In October, Blackbaud broke ground on its new international corporate headquarters in Charleston. The project is expected to create 300 new jobs.

The current issue of Insights magazine spotlights the Blackbaud success story, and features comments from Womble Carlyle attorney Stephanie Yarbrough, who has provided economic development counsel to this fast-growing company.

"Blackbaud is a treasured company here," Yarbrough told Insights. "Once we reached the point where our focus was on the Charleston region, we worked closely with our community leaders and with the S.C. Department of Commerce to discuss ways to support Blackbaud and their continued success in the state. I think South Carolina, and certainly Berkeley County, have proven their ability to support companies that are successful and to help them grow."
