Pursuant to the Presidential Decree numbered 2018/46 published on the Official Gazette dated July 25, 2018, and numbered 30489, the Presidency resolved that the following persons have been appointed to the Turkish Competition Board ("Board"): (i) Ahmet Algan, (ii) Hasan Hüseyin Ünlü and (iii) ªükran Kodalak.

The appointment of the Board is important as in the circumstance of vacant positions the Board would be unable to adopt any decisions on any matter as the Board would lose the necessary meeting quorum and thus, final decisions concerning certain matters, including merger control decisions, pre-investigations and investigations, would be pending due to the Board's lack of quorum.

With the appointment by the Presidency, the Board is now composed of Ömer Torlak (Chairman), Arslan Narin (Deputy Chairman), Adem Bircan (Member), Mehmet Ayan (Member), Ahmet Algan (Member), Hasan Hüseyin Ünlü (Member) and ªükran Kodalak (Member).
