A government working group has been formed to oversee the construction of a new motorway between Lviv and Krakovets.

The working group was established by resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers and reports directly to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. It is headed by Vice-Prime Minister Ivan Vasunyk.

Three of the other 18 appointees are representatives of NDI, a client of CMS Cameron McKenna, while Christina Maciw, a partner in our Kyiv office, is the only appointee from the legal profession.

The working group will be responsible for preparing amendments to the Concession contract for the motorway's construction and use, including detailed allocation of risks between the parties.
