Documents issued outside of the country before 18/09 will be valid

The Requirement of Legalisation for Foreign Public Documents (Apostille Convention of 5 October 1961) is abolished as of 18 September. Furthermore, it is worth noting that, for the time being, the requirements for translation and notarisation remain in effect in Spain.

Since the 18th of this month, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Guatemala has already begun to legalise with the Apostille the documents issued in Guatemala that will be used abroad.
