Salvador Nash represents the Institute on the Company Law Review Group, the statutory advisory export body charged with advising the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation on the review and development of company law in Ireland.
The Company Law Review Group work programme for 2016 – 2018 includes "a review of the enforcement of company law and, if appropriate, recommendations for change". Members are requested to express their written views on this topic directly to Salvador Nash at salvador.nash@kpmg.ie. As submissions have to be made to the Company Law Review Group Secretariat, to permit time to consider and collate views, the deadline is Wednesday 28 September 2016.
Additionally, the Company Law Review Group is considering issues that have arisen in Part 3 of the Companies Act 2014 (Shares and Share Capital). Once again, if members have encountered issues that they would like to be considered, please let Salvador Nash know as soon as possible
