On June 2, the UK National Cyber Security Programme published
its annual survey of information security
breaches, conducted by PwC. The Programme noted a substantial
yearly increase in the number of security breaches experienced by
large and small organizations, as well as an increase in associated
costs. Average costs for a large organization range from
£1.46m to £3.14m.
