This report tracks developments so far in 2014, in advance of our annual Petitions Snapshot report which will be published in early 2015.
There are a number of key findings that emerge from the current petition filings statistics. They reveal that the anticipated continuation of 2013's rise in the number of winding up petition filings into this year has not eventuated and that the number of filings in each of the jurisdictions has dropped significantly. Our Interim Report reviews the current trends and makes observations on the factors that have contributed to the profile of petition filings so far in 2014.
