An extraordinary meeting of the Liquor Licensing Board will be held at 10am Tuesday, 28 October, in the Government Administration Building's large conference room.

The agenda includes one variation, and six deferred variations.

Variation:

  1. Mr Prentice E. Panton, Block 4E, Parcel 11, Opposite Hell, West Bay, for the change of location of a package 'duty free' liquor licence to Block 13EH, Parcel 189, George Town; the removal of duty-free restrictions; and permission to operate from 9am to 10pm, Monday to Saturday.

Deferred variations:

  1. Mr Maikel Ebanks-Pol, Puro Rey Cigars & Liquors, 5 Bay Harbour Centre, West Bay Road, for the change of location of a package liquor licence to Mirco Centre, Unit 1, Industrial Park, George Town.
  2. Mr James Laurenson,  Elements Lounge, second floor, The Strand, West Bay Road, for the change of location of a retail liquor licence, and a music and dancing licence, to         Lauren's Restaurant, Buckingham Square, West Bay Road.
  3. Ms Joanne Lawson, Blackbeard's Liquors, Cayman Centre, Airport Road, George Town, for the change of location of a package liquor licence and a retail 'tasting' liquor licence to Anchors, 164 Yacht Club Drive, West Bay; permission to operate from 10am to 10pm, Monday to Saturday; and for the change of licensee to Ms Jacqueline C. Doak.
  4. Ms Joanne Lawson, Pirates Grotto, Landmark Building, 12 Harbour Drive, George Town, for the change of location of a package 'duty free' liquor licence and a retail 'tasting' liquor licence to Anchors, 164 Yacht Club Drive, West Bay; and for the change of licensee to Ms Jacqueline C. Doak.
  5. Ms Joanne Lawson, Blackbeard's Liquors, Crewe Road, George Town, for the change of location of a package liquor licence and a retail 'tasting' liquor licence to West Indies Wine Company, Unit 4A-1B, Camana Bay; permission to operate from 10am to 10pm, Monday to Saturday; and for the change of licensee to Ms Jacqueline C. Doak.
  6. Mr Oral Masters, Glacier House, Unit #3, Eastern Avenue, George Town, for the change of location of a retail liquor licence, and a music and dancing licence, to Trafalgar Place, Units A1, A2, & A3, West Bay Road.

Any member of the public who wishes to object to the matters on the agenda must do so in writing to the board chairman at least seven days prior to the date of the meeting. Anyone who has given to the chairman seven days' notice of objection may also appear and ask for the revocation or discontinuance of any existing licence.
