Slovakia currently has free trade agreements with EFTA and CEFTA countries and with Romania, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Israel. Similar agreements are planned to be signed soon with Malta, Cyprus and Morocco.

Slovakia does not intend to sign a standard free trade agreement with Russia but rather an agreement similar to that between Poland and Russia.
