Coopers & Lybrand is expanding in the former Soviet Union in response to the growing business opportunities. Through numerous assignments, our member firms have also developed extensive knowledge of the current business environment in the countries in which there is no Coopers & Lybrand firm. This enables Coopers & Lybrand to service clients' needs in the entire region.

Coopers & Lybrand is not currently represented in Kyrgyzstan. However, a number of significant assignments have been undertaken in the country, including

  • External audit of the World Bank (IDA)
  • Administered Japanese Grant and Dutch Grant for the Project Implementation Unit of Kyrgyz State Committee for Investments.
  • External audit to the Kyrgyz National Bank.
  • Technical proposal for development of commercial management system for the State Joint-Stock Energy Holding Company of the Kyrgyz Republic.
  • Services for business restructuring and liquidation programme administered by Enterprise Reform and Resolution Agency (ERRA) in Kyrgyz Republic.
