Bowditch partner Donna Truex was a guest on the Worcester Chamber of Commerce's Voice of Business podcast October 16, where she discussed real estate trends that affect her work as a real estate attorney in preparation for the Chamber's Bowditch-sponsored Game Changers Business Conference and Expo on October 25.
Donna will moderate the "Life-Stage Housing for Every Phase of Your Career" panel at Game Changers. She appeared on the podcast along with her fellow Game Changers panelist Katie Bilotta from ERA Key Realty.
Donna discussed supply and demand in the real estate market and a life-stage housing dilemma. "When we don't have a sufficient supply of real estate or needs met out there, we end up in a crisis situation," she said. "People want to move, but they can't find where to go because they can't put their house on the market. It's almost this paralysis. Also, (we have) the elderly population that don't want to move because they love their home but they really need to, and then when they want that one-story house...it's not available."
