Lewis Brisbois Obtains Favorable Jury Verdict In Auto Accident Case

Lewis Brisbois secured a favorable jury verdict for a defense
client in an automobile accident case. The plaintiff was driving
her car to work when she was struck by a tractortrailer insured by
our client. She was severely injured and required multiple surgical
procedures, remaining in the ICU for two weeks and a nursing home
for four months.
At trial, liability was admitted. A final pretrial offer of $1
million was extended against a final demand of $4.6 million. After
deliberation, the jury returned a verdict of $1,448,000.
