Here at SGR, we like to keep our clients and friends up-to-date on recent developments in the law, as well as on recent news from our firm. As part of this effort, we publish periodic newsletters and blogs on a wide range of legal topics. Our goal is to keep our clients and contacts informed on current legal trends, and also to keep them posted on events and other activities taking place at our firm.

As part of this effort, we've been publishing our Intellectual Property (IP) newsletter (entitled "The SGR Intellectual Property Brain Trust") for many years, and we hope that those of you on our mailing list have enjoyed the content we provide. We've traditionally provided recent legal updates in the world of IP in the left column of the newsletter, as well as firm news in the right column of the newsletter. This format has worked well for us, but based on feedback we've received, we felt that it was time for a change.

As our IP practice continues to grow, we've come to realize that while our readership enjoys reading about recent IP legal news, and the activities of our IP attorneys, we would also like to start publishing original content on various IP topics. Within our IP Dept. we have IP attorneys having deep experience in their respective fields, across the full spectrum of industry groups. We enjoy sharing our insights and ideas with others, and so starting soon we will begin preparing and publishing in our IP newsletter original content on different topics. We'll continue to provide updates about activities and honors of our IP attorneys, but we'll also include on a regular basis short, timely and easy-to-read blurbs written by our IP attorneys on topics that we think will be of interest to our readers.

We'd like our communication with our readership to become more of an ongoing conversation, so we'll of course welcome feedback from all of you on our articles and commentary. And selected articles from our IP newsletter, as well as other original content, will continue to be posted to our IP blog, for easy reference.

We hope you enjoy this new format for our IP newsletter and IP blog. Of course, if you have any ideas for ways we can continue to improve our communications with our clients and friends, please let us know.

Thanks, and we look forward to staying in touch...
