In April 2018, the Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit
reversed the lower court's finding that a group of plaintiffs
did not have standing to sue regarding a shoe retailer's data
breach. The unanimous Ninth Circuit panel determined that the
"imminent" risk of identity theft from the breach was
