On March 28, 2018, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) announced that it will be sending out a survey "to gather more information about how [OFCCP] can continue improving communication, transparency, and timeliness during our compliance evaluations." OFCCP will send the survey to federal contractors that completed an OFCCP compliance evaluation between October 1, 2012 and September 30, 2017.

In the notice, the agency indicated that it will collect information related to "contractors' experiences during compliance evaluations to identify areas where OFCCP can strengthen its outreach, education, training, and processes." The survey will be administered anonymously through a third party, and OFCCP commits that any contractors that participate in the survey will not be scheduled for compliance evaluations based on their participation.

OFCCP's request for feedback from contractors is a welcome development and is evidence that new director Ondray Harris is continuing to move the agency forward in a more contractor-friendly manner.
