The National Futures Association ("NFA") proposed amendments to Registration Rule 802 ("Certifications, Acknowledgements, Agreements and Representations").

The amendments to Rule 802 reflect changes made to registration forms 7-R and 8-R by the CFTC and the NFA. To avoid having to make further amendments in connection with future changes to forms, the proposed amendment no longer includes specific agreements and certifications. Revised Rule 802 provides that "an applicant's filing of a particular registration form will be deemed to constitute the applicant's applicable certifications, representations, acknowledgements, authorizations and agreements contained in the forms."

The proposed amendments will become effective ten days after submission, unless the CFTC determines that a further review is necessary.
