The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency ("OCC")
published an updated version of the "
Termination of Federal Charter" booklet of the
Comptroller's Licensing Manual.
The "Termination of Federal Charter" booklet describes
the process for terminating national bank or federal savings
association status, and contains sample documents used during the
process. The revised booklet integrates new regulatory requirements
for such terminations.
