Seyfarth's annual Workplace Class Action Report was profiled in "Study: Employers Should Fear Class Actions In California, New York," a February 9 story by Forbes. Authored by Gerald Maatman, this year's report said that New York and California courts lead the way in the number of class action certifications. Maatman said that most Fortune 1000 companies do business in New York and California, so they have an inordinate number of class actions filed there.
