USDA Proposes To Amend Product Categories For Federal Procurement

In the January 13, 2017, Federal Register, USDA
proposed to amend the Guidelines for Designating Biobased Products
for Federal Procurement to add 12 sections of product categories
composed of intermediate ingredient and feedstock materials within
which biobased products would be afforded procurement preference by
federal agencies and their contractors. USDA also proposed minimum
biobased contents for each of these product categories.
