On September 30, the Article 29 Working Party issued a report on a July Fablab workshop focused on
operational and practical issues of the General Data Protection
Regulation ("GDPR"). The workshop brought together
European participants from various industries, civil society, and
academics to discuss the priority issues identified in the Action
Plan of the Working Party. These issues included the compliance
toolbox aimed at making companies more responsible and accountable
and the new right to portability, which strengthens citizens'
rights.
