Kenneth A. Rosenberg was mentioned in the Law360 article, "NJ Board Won't Nix Rutgers Sick Leave Verification Policy." Full text can be found in the December 9, 2015, issue, but a synopsis is below.

The article reports on a ruling by a New Jersey labor commission that said police working for state-run universities must, under their current contract, cover the costs of securing doctor's notes to comply with a negotiated sick leave verification policy.

In its Nov. 19 decision, the Public Employment Relations Commission found there was a long-standing practice of requiring officers on the Rutgers University police force to bear the cost of such medical certificates.

Rutgers was represented in the proceedings by Kenneth A. Rosenberg of Fox Rothschild LLP.
