In the July 24, 2015, Federal Register, USDA's
APHIS reopened the comment period of a
proposal to amend the Animal Welfare Act regulations to specify
ethologically appropriate standards researchers must adhere to in
order to promote the psychological well-being of nonhuman primates
used in research. Comments are due August 31, 2015.
