It may very well represent the most significant e-discovery case in the nation at this moment, and US v. Quartavious Davis takes center stage this week at the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.  The application of the Fourth Amendment to the cornerstone of the connected modern digital world — passive tower data generated by the interactions of cell phones with network infrastructure — is about to be tested in a case that could be headed for the United States Supreme Court.
