On December 4, 2014, President Obama signed into law H.R. 4067, which requires the Secretary of HHS
to continue to instruct Medicare contractors not to enforce
requirements for direct physician supervision of outpatient
therapeutic services in critical access and small rural hospitals
through 2014.
