Alain Leibman was quoted in the Wish TV article, "Charges Dropped Against Eli Lilly Scientists Accused of Selling Trade Secrets."  Full text can be found in the December 5, 2014, issue, but a synopsis is below.

A federal judge dismissed all charges against two former Eli Lilly scientists accused of selling valuable trade secrets to a rival Chinese company.

"Lilly recanted an earlier factual statement," stated Leibman, a defense attorney in the case. "In other words, Lilly admitted they got it wrong. It was obvious to the lawyers from the beginning that nothing happened here. Lilly simply supplied bad information to the government which the government failed to investigate properly."

Leibman also disagreed with Lilly's earlier claims that the information the two discussed was privileged.

Leibman was pleased with the move for full dismissal.  "I think it should be acknowledged that the government did the right thing in the end," Leibman noted.
