After unprecedented flooding devastated areas of northern Colorado, Fox Rothschild is pledging its support to the affected families and communities via a donation to the Foothills Flood Relief Fund.

Grants from this fund will support the relief efforts of Boulder and Broomfield County health and human service nonprofit organizations, which are assisting with the immediate and long-term needs of those impacted by the flooding.

"For an area that typically suffers from extreme drought, receiving 21 inches of rain in six days -- the equivalent of 18 feet of snow -- was catastrophic," said Neal S. Cohen, managing partner of Fox's Denver office. "Our office and firm are deeply committed to supporting the local community as it recovers from this disaster."

"It remains a goal of our firm to be committed and responsible members of the communities where we have offices across the nation," said Mark L. Silow, Fox's firmwide managing partner. "When events such as this flooding devastate an area where our employees, our clients and other friends of the firm live and work, we view it as our duty to ensure that we offer assistance that will help those impacted receive relief as they seek to recover from the disaster."

The firm has demonstrated a strong commitment to helping those in need, both locally and abroad.  Much like the flood in Colorado, in the wake of recent natural disasters such as Hurricane Sandy and the tsunami in Japan, the firm made a significant contribution to aid the relief efforts.

While maintaining a national presence, Fox Rothschild prides itself in a strong sense of community throughout its network of 19 offices. In addition to attorneys and staff devoting time and resources to organizations throughout the year, the firm provides substantial financial support annually to more than 500 service providers that help better lives, enhance communities and enrich the overall quality of life locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. The firm also has a broad-based pro bono program that includes legal services at no cost for individuals who need assistance as well as services to various religious organizations, community groups, non-profit associations, social welfare, and human resources organizations.
