In November the CFPB again turned its focus to mortgage lenders, this time with respect to their advertisements, which were the focus of a joint CFPB/FTC investigation.  The CFPB also launched "Project Catalyst," encouraging innovators to open up a dialogue with the agency about the best way to promote product innovation while still protecting consumers.  And, "specialty" consumer reporting agencies received notice of their obligations to provide free annual consumer reports to consumers.
