One of the key trends in this issue is growing interest in sustainable, resilient and regenerative projects. This is driven by the heightened awareness and concern surrounding global warming and climate change and, arguably, a lack of funding following the global financial crisis.

As such, in this edition we consider responsible investing and how renewable energy can provide solutions to investors, moving forward to distributed generation in Brazil and bright renewable energy prospects in the region. We then explore hydrogen as potentially becoming a new export industry in Australia, bringing us to the future of gas industry and LNG pricing. Finally we will shed light on issues arising in the operational stages of distressed projects and present case study of vendor financing for stage 1 of the Bridge Power project in Ghana.
