Fidelity Investments may now support shareholder proxy proposals calling on companies to provide more disclosure on sustainability matters, including renewable energy, and environmental impact issues. Fidelity proxy voting guidelines had been silent on the issue. In the last two proxy seasons, Fidelity funds opposed or abstained on every shareholder proposal related to environmental issues.
