A new regulation on working procedures and principles of legal disputes commission has been published on 4 July 2012 dated Official Gazette; accordingly each and every public administrative unit should have a legal dispute commission authorized in disputes below and related for the rights of waiver, recognition and pledge valued more than one million Turkish Liras as defined in in article 11 and 12th of 659 numbered Decree;

  1. the amicable settlement of any legal disputes between real or legal person regardless of a subject matter of a contract or litigation process
  2. reasons not specified in the contract modification or termination of contracts, reasons not specified in the relevant contract
  3. Financing proposals out of the scope of the law on Collection Procedures of Public Receivables
  4. All kinds of foreclosure proceedings and the opening of the judicial and executive authorities or follow-up of those
  5. the acceptance or waiver of cases
  6. Withdrawal of complaint or compromise of disputes.
