Ministry of Justice Mediation Directorate, has announced that, in line with the recommendations of the Ministry of Health, due to the corona virus outbreak the following measures shall to be taken regarding the mediation processes:
- In disputes relating to the mediation process that has already started and are ongoing, the teleconferencing method should be preferred regardless of whether the parties are in the same city or not,
- with regards to the mediation process which is at the outset stage, the meeting day should be set towards the end of the periods specified in the law and if the risky and emergency situations continue the teleconferencing method should be used regardless of whether the parties are in the same city or not.
