The Companies and Intellectual Property Commission has begun its
rollout of an electronic filing (e-filing) system for the lodgement
of trademark, patent, registered design and Copyright in
cineomatographic film applications.
As from 2 September 2013, it is now possible to file new trade
mark applications electronically. Electronic filing for patents,
designs and copyright will follow shortly. E-filing for new patent
applications is expected from October 2013.
We look forward to using this new, quicker system.
