Earlier today, by a vote of 51-49, the U.S. Senate ended debate on the nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court of the United States. The vote was on party lines, though Sen. Joseph Manchin III (D-WV) voted "yes" while Sen. Lisa Ann Murkowski (R-AK) voted "no."
