CGPDTM Restricts The Number Of Request For Expedited Examination Of Patent Application

The Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs and
Trade marks (CGPDTM), India has released a public notice on June
14, 2016 stating that, the number of requests for expedited
examination, under rule 24C of Patent (Amendment Rules), 2016,
received by the Patent Office till December 31, 2016 has been
restricted to 1000.
