On August 1, 2014 the government introduced certain amendments
in Trademarks Rules 2002.Through the amendments, the official fees
for trademark application under entries 1, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 of the
First Schedule of the TM Rules 2002 have increased from Rs. 3,500
to Rs. 4,000.further, the fees for expedited examination of an
application for registration of a trademark have increased to Rs.
20,000.
