The number of Guernsey practitioners featured in the Citywealth 2017 IFC Powerwomen Top 200 list has risen from last year.

Guernsey Finance Deputy Chief Executive Kate Clouston is one of those completing a hat-trick, having been named for the third year running. She is joined by 34 other women from Guernsey's business community, meaning the island has four more practitioners in the list than last year.

Miss Clouston (pictured) was promoted to Deputy CEO last year having initially joined Guernsey Finance in April 2015 as Director of International Business Development, when she was responsible for leading international business development work in key markets in South East Asia, North America and Europe.

The Top 200 list honours the most powerful women in government, private wealth, education, private client advisory and philanthropy across international finance centres (IFCs). It is compiled from research from the 2016 list, combined with recommendations from leading figures in the financial services sector, ultra-high-net-worth clients, charities and from a call of submissions.
