But the fight is far from over, because the case will continue on its substantive merits and ICANN is considering further filings before the German courts.
She continued:
"Many rights holders and practitioners feel that ICANN would be better placed focusing its resources away from potentially lengthy court proceedings to reaching consensus with the European Data Protection Board and European Commission on WHOIS compliance with the GDPR."
