There is a great demand for bank selling and purchasing
standards structured for the German loan market. To help address
this need, Mayer Brown, as one of the founding members of, and
counsel for, Deutsche Kreditmarkt-Standards e.V., recently drafted
a form "confidentiality agreement" to be used in loan
Used in conjunction with our
Servicing Agreement and
Sale and Purchase Agreement forms, which we included in our
Legal Updates of December 2012 and January 14, 2013, this form
should enable German banks and investors to prepare and process
transactions in the loan market. We are glad to share these
agreements with you and will keep you posted on further
