Tannon to serve on both Services Advisory Committee of U.S. Trade Representative and Southern Technology Council
Washington D.C.– U.S. Trade Representative Robert Zoellick and Virginia Governor Mark Warner have each independently appointed Pillsbury Winthrop LLP corporate and international transactions attorney Jay M. Tannon to serve on commerce advisory committees.
Tannon has been tapped by Ambassador Zoellick to serve on the Services Advisory Committee to the United States Trade Representative. At the same time, he has been selected by Governor Warner to represent the Commonwealth of Virginia in the Southern Technology Council, a group devoted to promoting high-tech industry in the Southern states.
Tannon was chosen for both positions based on his recognized experience in supporting regional, national and international business and trade. He has spoken frequently on U.S. trade policy and international business transactions....
