Reynolds Porter Chamberlain (RPC) acted for LDC the private equity arm of Lloyds TSB and the management shareholders of Emblem Group Limited, on the sale of Emblem to EDO Corporation of the US for a debt free price of £15.25 million.

Emblem is a supplier of niche aerospace and defence products and services, primarily through its MBM Technology Unit in the UK and Artisan Technologies in the US. The company has a core competency in aircraft weapons-carriage and Interfacing systems that will reinforce EDO's position as the global leader in aircraft armament systems.

The RPC team was led by corporate partner, Tim Anderson, assisted by Chaz Dheer.

Tim Anderson and Chaz Dheer were part of the RPC team that acted for The Morgan Crucible Company plc in September 2000 when it sold MBM Technology and Artisan to the management, supported by LDC.

Decherts partner David Vogel assisted by Alan de Saram acted for EDO.
