United States: Connie Westfall And Jadd Masso Elected Fellows Of The Texas Bar Foundation

Strasburger & Price, LLP (Strasburger) congratulates partners Constance Courtney Westfall and Jadd F. Masso on their election as Fellows of the Texas Bar Foundation. Each year, the Foundation invites the top third of one percent of Texas attorneys to become Fellows. Nomination is based on contributions to the practice of law and community commitment. Election to the Texas Bar Foundation is one of the highest honors that a lawyer in Texas can achieve. The Texas Bar Foundation funds projects throughout Texas that further legal services for the underserved, public education, ethics and professionalism in the legal profession, administration of justice, and victim services.

Connie concentrates her practice in the environmental area. She represents industrial and institutional clients on a wide range of environmental matters. She focuses her practice on compliance counseling; environmental permitting; and administrative and judicial litigation. She has extensive experience in counseling clients in environmental risk management, including the investigation and disclosure of environmental liabilities and contingencies and the development of risk based solutions to contamination.

Connie is co-author of several environmental books, including Navigating Water Use and Pollution Laws: Leading Lawyers on Federal and State Regulations of Consumption and Contamination, Thomson Reuters, 2014; Essentials of Texas Water Resources, State Bar of Texas-Environmental & Natural Resources Law Section, 2014; and Texas Environmental Laws, Thomson West Texas Practice Series, 2014-2015.  She speaks and writes frequently on environmental issues and legislation and served as the chair of the Environmental & Natural Resources Section of the State Bar of Texas.

Jadd is a trial and appellate litigator. In addition to trying lawsuits dealing with business and real estate disputes, Jadd has handled more than 30 appeals in state and federal courts. He regularly speaks and writes on topics relating to civil procedure, privilege, professional responsibility, and ethics. Jadd recently became Board Certified in Civil Appellate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
