Last Updated: 14 January 2015

Olena Perepelynska, Counsel of International Arbitration Practice at Sayenko Kharenko, has been admitted as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) founded in London in 1915 and this year celebrating its 100th anniversary of its founding, is a leading professional membership organisation representing the interests of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) practitioners worldwide.

With 13,000 members located in over 120 countries, CIArb supports the global promotion, facilitation, and development of all forms of private dispute resolution. CIArb provides users with the confidence that its members have an internationally recognized, assured level of training and experience - it is the only international ADR professional body that combines membership and training of ADR practitioners on a global basis.

Fellowship (FCIArb) in the Institute is internationally recognized as a high-level diploma qualification. Fellows have demonstrated their skill and knowledge through a formal education and assessment program. It is the benchmark that professional dispute resolvers aim to achieve and it is only awarded to experienced practitioners.

Olena Perepelynska, FCIArb, has acted as counsel and arbitrator in more than 80 international and domestic arbitral proceedings under a variety of arbitration rules.

Other than her membership with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb), Olena is a member of Austrian Arbitration Association (ArbAut), Young International Arbitration Group (YIAG), ICC Young Arbitrators Forum (YAF), International Bar Association, admitted to Kyiv City Bar and is a Board member of the Ukrainian Arbitration Association and Vice-President of the Polish-Ukrainian Chapter of the Spanish Arbitration Club (CEA).
