Australia: Concert brings legal community together
Last Updated: 27 December 2014

The Sydney Lawyer's Orchestra held their inaugural concert performance on Wednesday 16 December at the Uniting Church, Pitt St Sydney.

Justice Margaret Beazley, who opened the performance, noted it was an event which brought together members of the legal community, and this was especially important at such a difficult time.

SLO's director and conductor, Corrs partner Thomas Jones congratulated the almost 30 members of the orchestra. "I was thrilled at the quality of the performance and the enthusiastic response from the audience. Thank you to everyone who was able to support us. We are looking forward to planning further concerts for next year."

Supported by Corrs Chambers Westgarth, the Sydney Lawyers Orchestra is made up of lawyers who are also classically-trained musicians and share an enthusiasm for music.
