12 December 2014: The enthusiasm and efforts of our partners and employees in raising over $40,000 as part of the annual Movember campaign has seen Clayton Utz win the Highest Fundraising Company award in the Movember Legal Challenge for the second year running.

Launched in 2013, the Movember Legal Challenge encourages people and companies within the legal industry to engage in healthy competition by growing moustaches and raising funds during the month of November, all in the name of men's health. This year, 22 teams participated in the Movember Legal Challenge, with 304 members raising over $155,000 collectively.

Fifty-five Clayton Utz partners and employees nationally took part in the challenge, raising a total of $40,261 to date, which includes a $5,000 grant from the Clayton Utz Foundation.

Clayton Utz Deputy Chief Executive Partner - People and Development, Kate Jordan, said the firm was proud to support the Movember campaign.

"Last year, fifty of our Mo Bros and Mo Sistas across Clayton Utz won the first ever Movember Legal Challenge by raising $39,144. This year, we've managed to beat that figure, raising over $40,000 and winning the crown again. It is a fantastic achievement by all our participants and the people who kindly supported us."

Ms Jordan said the Movember Legal Industry Challenge was a fantastic initiative to encourage friendly competition within the profession for a good cause.

"It's great to see so many of our people get behind Movember by directly participating in the challenge or supporting those who have. It also brings the whole profession together in some friendly rivalry, while raising much needed funds and awareness for men's health."

Movember is a fundraising and awareness campaign held annually by the Movember Foundation in November. It supports men's health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health.
