New Zealand: Owen Paulsen appointed a Judge
Last Updated: 11 December 2014

Cavell Leitch would like to extend our warmest congratulations to our Litigation Partner Owen Paulsen who has been invited to become a Judge.

Becoming a Judge is a huge honour for any litigation lawyer and so when Owen was recently offered the role of Chief Justice for a Pacific Island country he accepted and is really looking forward to the challenge. Unfortunately he has to start his new role within weeks of the appointment - in January 2015.

Owen has been an outstanding Partner in our firm, looking after the litigation needs of many of our clients over many years. He will certainly be missed by his fellow partners, staff and by our clients. Fortunately we have a strong litigation team led by Partner Susan Dwight to carry on in his absence.

We wish Owen all the very best for his new career and thank him for his many years of amazing service whilst at our firm.
